Edited by Kris Kiesling and Christopher J. Prom.
The most recent addition to the series Trends in Archives Practice includes four modules that each provide a practical guidance in creating and implementing descriptive standards. Module 17 by Cory Nimer leads archivists through the provisions of Describing Archives: A Content Standard (DACS). Module 18 by Kelcy Shepherd introduces Encoded Archival Description Version EAD3. Module 19 by Katherine Wisser addresses Encoded Archival Context–Corporate Bodies, Persons, and Families (EAC-CPF). And Module 20 by Aaron Rubinstein explores strategies for sharing archival metadata with researchers in the digital humanities. With plenty of extended examples in a variety of contexts!
