Archivists of the Houston Area

Founded in 1998, Archivists of the Houston Area exists to increase contact and communication among archivists and those working with records, to provide opportunities for professional development, and to promote archival repositories and activities in the greater Houston, Texas area. The group holds meetings with guest speakers selected by the executive board, organizes activities in October for Archives Month, and provides learning and networking opportunities. Membership is open to anyone interested in the archives profession.
